THE SEVEN CHURCHES OF ASIA

CHAPTER 19 (1 of 2)
CONCLUSION
-
Although the Seven Churches of Asia, can
be given a dispensation value, to describe seven different church ages, a
doctrine which I do not agree with, the spirit and soul condition of those in
these seven churches has been evident in every generation, the life of everyone
professing to be Christian. God has always had His faithful and true witnesses,
Saints, even in what is considered the "dark ages" of church history;
there is a wellspring of historical information available that will attest to
this fact. I am not the only one who God has inspired to write about the seven
churches in Revelation chapters 2 and 3 as He has had me to write. Church
history speaks of many Revivals over the centuries, we are overdue for one, and
it is not God's fault it is ours. As the day of Jesus’ second coming draws
nearer it is obvious there is a move by God’s Holy Spirit in the lives of those
who are truly His people to manifest His Revival through their life.
-
The doctrine
of SALVATION BY GRACE THROUGH FAITH ONLY has been so over emphasized for
centuries, with little attention devoted to good works, works done
in obedience to God’s Moral Ethical laws and the leadership of His
Holy Spirit, as He leads, guides, and directs us [Romans 8:14]. Many
in the church today see no purpose for true holiness, so they go about working
out their own salvation according to the dictates of
their own mind, their standard of holiness, instead of what God requires
from our Heart, HIS Standard of Holiness, God’s perfect will. For
so the foolish virgins say, God's grace and mercy will cover my disobedience
(sin); to a certain degree this is true concerning God's "long-suffering,”
(2 Peter 3:9) but in the end of our days, the lack of vigilance
to improve in our obedience to God’s perfect will could mean
the loss of the hope and promise of eternal life [Titus 1:2]. As I have written
throughout this book, "God is the judge of all such
matters." Nonetheless, God's warning is clear, Rev. 2:5, 2:16,
3:13, 3:19 REPENT, and Rev. 3:5 "... and I will not blot out his name
out of the book of life," Clearly, Jesus has the authority to do it.
-
The lack of
vigilance to get an informed knowledge and understanding of what God requires,
and the lack of knowing that we are held accountable by God for the deeds we do
in accordance to the desires of the sinful nature bound in our flesh (physical
body) can cause many to fall far short of what God requires of us to be worthy
of eternal life after receiving Jesus as Lord and Savior of
our life. It is the lack of diligence to obey God, and the willingness
to compromise with the sinful nature in our flesh is what keeps a Believer
bound in defeat, and of little value and use to God. God has given
us the Power (mighty power) to overcome the temptations and desires of
the sinful nature in our flesh so that we are without excuse.
-
God has given
us the Power (mighty power) to obey His righteous nature planted in our spirit
and soul through the New Birth to obey Him to the fullest of His commands and
expectations. God’s power (mighty power) makes us without excuse, so that in
the Day of Judgment, like the friend spoken of in Matthew 22:12..."And he
was speechless,” so will we be. Statically only ten percent of
professing "Christians" read their bible on a regular basis, thus the rest knowing very little of what is expected of us by God to receive eternal life at
the end of our days, according to the BIBLE, instead foolishly trusting what
they hear from a preacher is without doctrinal and theological error. Many have
gone into eternity believing they were worthy of eternal life only to lose
their own soul, for "many are called, but few are chosen." Our trust
should always be in God’s Word for instruction not solely in a preacher
or teacher.
-
But I keep
under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when
I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. (1
Corinthians 9:27) [The same Greek
word translated "castaway," in Hebrews 6:8 is translated
"rejected;" by definition this is the correct translation for
the Greek word - AAdmivn or Adokimos]
-
For what is a
man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what
shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:26)
-
For many are
called, but few are chosen (Matthew 22:14) [The context of this verse is in reference to those
who choose not to comply with God's will and expectations; the Hypocrite,
the Religious, the Lukewarm, and Apostate) Matthew 22:1-13]
-
Many English
words have multiple meanings; an example is "works." Many
Greek words are translated "works" in the Kings James version of the
bible: humanitarian, physical labor, good deeds, our attitudes and behavior,
employment, etc. The most significant of these Greek words is obedience to a
direct word from God spoken to us through His Holy Spirit to our
spirit. We cannot fully hope to obey God's voice and His moral
ethical laws, without the power the Holy Spirit gives us to obey God's perfect will,
His standard of holiness that will cause us to be accepted instead of castaway
and rejected at Jesus' Judgment Seat.

My Facebook Timeline - www.facebook.com/samuelsiders1 - contains
responses I have posted in answer to those who God has had me to share with for
over seventeen years on Facebook Forums created to share the
Scriptures. My activity about sharing the Word of God with Muslims, other
false Cults, and with those who profess to be Christian continues; this open
door that the Lord has made available to me as an Apologist/Teacher is one
where worldwide opportunities are made available to all English speaking people
around the world from many different countries, races, and religious
beliefs.
-
It is WRITTEN in 1 Peter 3:15 … “But sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and
be ready always to give an answer to every man that asks you of the hope that
is in you with meekness and fear:" God wants us to know AND understand His
Word (2 Timothy 2:15), “Study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman
that needs not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.” Jude 3,
“Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation,
it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should
earnestly contend [Gr. agonize with fervent zeal] for the faith which was once
delivered unto the saints.”

I have three published books that can be found online, type in the search bar
of the website: “Samuel Siders Books” and you will be directed to where they
can be found.
-
It is not uncommon that a Muslim will misuse Jesus’ water baptism
to make the False claim Jesus was baptized because He had sinned. A Muslim name
Shahid
quoted Luke 3:11 where it mentions Jesus prayed when coming out of the water as
to imply Jesus was praying to be forgiven for His sins. Shahid also implied
that Jesus was baptized unto John, oblivious to the fact that John the Baptist
KNEW Jesus did not need to be water baptized. What follows is the defense I
posted to correct Shahid’s erroneous conclusions:
-
Shahid
T ... “The one in your meme lying on the floor is All about You. Muslims Always
Misusing Bible Scripture to support a Satan deception.
-
You
have already been informed Jesus is - deity through Heredity - in His - spirit
and soul - and for this reason His FATHER Almighty God calls Jesus
"God" also (Psalm 45:6-7, Hebrews 1:8-9). One God the Father whose
ONLY begotten Son Jesus is Deity in His - spirit and soul - LIKE Him.
-
There
is nothing written that John the Baptist baptized anyone in the his Name;
therefore, it is a - supposition Fallacy - that Jesus was baptized unto John,
aside from the Fact that John KNEW Jesus did Not need to be baptized, but Jesus
told him to do it anyway; therefore, it is Another Fallacy by you that Jesus
sinned when the BIBLE teaches Jesus NEVER sinned. Also FYI - water baptism -
does - Not - provide for forgiveness and cleansing of a person's sins that they
commit against God, it is the Blood of a GOD ACCEPTED Sacrifice that does.
-
Jesus
taught whatever He did He did in His FATHER Almighty God's Name and since
Almighty God sent John to baptize it is - more likely - like Jesus - John
baptized in Almighty God's name YEHWEH. Jesus was Never a disciple of John.
-
FYI
John said Jesus was - greater (mightier) - than he. John the Baptist was FULLY
aware he Needed Jesus as Lord and Savior of his life just like ALL HUMANITY
does to receive eternal life.
-
As
for Jesus praying (Luke 3:11) when He came out of the water, since He NEVER
sinned, Clearly the prayer had Zero to do with sin, but - Likelier - to do with
what was going to happen After the water baptism; He being sent by Almighty
God’s personal Spirit the Holy Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by
Satan.”
